The temple is beautiful carved and gives a glimpse of Sai Baba in the temple.I visited this place this year, on the day of Shivratri, and major preparations were being put in place for hunders of people. I wanted to stop on the way and take some photos, but the suggestion was vetoed by the others, who wanted to reach Dwarkamai as fast as possible. It turned out to be a good decision, since we had the best darshan EVER!!!!! We reached at 10:45 AM .The journey was indeed unbecoming and it keeps a green & lasting memory in my mind.I advice you to visit this holy pilgrimage.

How to reach Dwarkamai (Guwahati-Shilong Road)By Bus-Car-Taxi
Road route - Dwarkamai falls on the Guwahati-Shilong Highway , making it quite accessible for those traveling by road. One can take State Transport as well as private buses for reaching any city in Assam and neighboring states, from Paltan Bazar. Private taxis are also easily available.
There are many buses connecting Guwahati to towns such as Shilong (250 Km), Itanagar, Gangtok, Jorhat , etc. There are abundant, very convenient bus packages from Shilong. The road connectivity between Shilong and guwahati is good, except in certain stretches. It takes around 3 hours from Shilong to Guwahati.
Dwarkamai is accessible via the khanapada -airport State Highway No.10, approximately 50 kms from Guwahati airport and 30 kms from Paltanabajaar.
Auto from Guwahati station till Dwarkamai
From Paltan Bazar, one can take a Auto till Dwarkamai (Rs. 300-400 on full fare) or a shared van (Rs. 20-30 per person).
From Paltan Bazar, one can take a bus to Khanapada (Rs. 15 Per person)
From khanapada to Shillong road one can take shared traker (Rs. 10 Per person) and then can take shared auto((Rs. 15 Per person) till Dwarkamai
Air -
The nearest airports are at Guwahati. From Guwahati Airport it will take 45 min approx if you rent a car . You can use the services of Radio cabs Guwahati , they provide good service
